Description Wolfscote Grange offers excellent holiday accommodation in one of the most picturesque areas of the Peak District National Park. Luxury Bed and Breakfast is provided in the farmhouse which has a real feeling of history. The farmstead dates back to the Domesday Book and the house itself bears a 1649 datestone. Four self catering holiday cottages plus Graces Cottage in Hartington village, offer superb accommodation in delightful surroundings. The largest can sleep up to seven visitors in three bedrooms. The area is ideal for walking, cycling and other outdoor activities and there is a wealth of places to visit. The High Peak and Tissington trails and the pretty village of Hartington are close to hand. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are just two of the historic houses within easy reach and Bakewell and Buxton are within a short drive as is Alton Towers. Wolfscote Grange Self Catering Cottages The cottages are in a lovely setting above the Dove Valley in part of the farmstead, though the delightful Cruck Cottage is private, set on its own at the side of Beresford Dale, and Grace's Cottage is found on the edge of Hartington village. The cottages are full of comfort and character, centrally heated - some with log burning stoves - some with spa/whirlpool bathrooms and dishwashers. Garden/patio areas. Acres of space and so quiet you can hear cows munching in the fields below. The cottages are all 4 star accredited by the Tourist Board. It is attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort as well as the beautiful surroundings that keep our visitors returning year after year. Children welcome to look after our pets Flopsie the rabbit, Ben the sheepdog and Tilly the cat - to name a few. Cruck Cottage Cruck Cottage sleeps 4. Tom Boys Cottage Tom Boys Cottage is 4 star rated and sleeps 4 with the option of accommodating 6 using a sofa bed. Wolfscote Cottage Wolfscote Cottage sleeps 4 and comprises one double bedroom and one additional bedroom with adult bunkbeds. Swallows Cottage Swallows Return Cottage is 4 star rated and sleeps 6/7 in two double rooms (one en-suite) and one twin room. There is an additional spa/bathroom. Graces Cottage Graces Cottage is 4 star rated and sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedded room. Wolfscote Grange dates back to the Domesday book with the farmhouse date stoned at 1649 and has been the Gibbs family home for over three generations.
