try before you buy - farming course conference for kids

It's that time of year when grown up kids still at school and their parents start thinking about higher education.
To overcome the problem of what to do, forget media studies & make the most of a great two day (overnighter) taster for students. It's the 'higher education choices conference' at harper adams agricultural college taking place on 6-7 July 2009. This is a really useful event and sounds a bit like an unofficial yfc agm. Advisers from universities, colleges and businesses across the UK will attend to discuss courses and careers.
The 'conference' promises to let 16 - 18 year olds discover for themselves what student life is like. More importantly, it should provide some great advice on courses for rural, animal and land based careers. According to the organiser, they'll have the opportunity to:
'take some lectures and seminars, have a party, make some new friends, and discover a whole new world of opportunities. What's not to like? '
What indeed.. if only I were years and years younger! So if you (16 - 18 year olds), or your chip off the old block is interested in studying in higher education any of the following sign up for the conference for a wealth of advice...and fun. Click here for more details www.harper-adams.ac.uk/hec/
