Visit, Stay & Save Peak District & Derbyshire

Farmers' markets - putting a friendly face to your products

Here in the peak district we have a diverse range of agriculture - mostly based around the grassland of the dales and peaks in the region.  You can expect quality meat with provenance from traditional beef breeds and dairy products as well as to more 'exotic' water buffalo and cheese.

There are a group of devoted farmers in the area who've worked through cooperation to make fantastic products for all pockets.

When you buy from the market you can chat to the producer who will happily tell you about the product's excellence - now you can't do that at the local supermarket..
