Mike Scott (nottinghamshire) paid 5,000gns for 2008-born heifer, Betws Dwyn, by Blak du Baty and out of Croft Urella, from Gill and Rhys Bellis (ceredigion).
The commercial section saw £2,050 paid by bj pritchard (herefordshire) for a nine-month-old steer from Brian Griffiths (powys).
The show judge, John Madeley (herefordshire) bought the chamption 9 month heifer by tamhorn ringmaster.
