Description Hulland Ward is situated on the edge of the Peak District, 5 miles from the market town of Ashbourne, just 20 minutes from Matlock and only 40 minutes away from the famous town of Bakewell, renowned for the 'Bakewell Tart' Just 5 minutes away is Carsington Water (open every day except Christmas Day), which plays host to many outdoor activities including: walking, water sports, birdwatching, trout fishing, cycling and pony rides. The centre also boasts an excellent play area. The Peak District offers outstanding opportunities for walking, cycling, pot holing, climbing or, if you prefer, just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Golfers have a choice of several excellent courses througout the region. Hulland Ward provides a peaceful setting for your holiday with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. For families there are 3 Theme Parks catering for all ages within the area, one being Alton Towers which we strongly recommend, along with Gulliver's Kingdom and the American Adventure. Honeysuckle Cottage - 3/4 persons - Entry is a shared hallway into the Lounge/Dining Room complete with beamed ceilings. There is a fully equipped kitchen featuring exposed brickwork. The stairway also has exposed brickwork and leads to the double bedroom, single bedroom and bathroom. Rose Cottage: Comprises a living kitchen/lounge which is fully equipped to a high standard. Staircase leading to double bedroom, single bedroom and bathroom. Both cottages have their own BBQ's and garden furniture, together with stunning views and are furnished to a high standard. Cots and high chairs are available on request.
