peakdistrictfarming's report & photos of the high peak bantam club's 60th anniversary show at bakewell showground on 7 february 2009.  If you watched 'creature comforts' recently, the episode based around show livestock and poultry, you'll recognise some of the characters below:

This is the champion of the derbyshire red cap's breed society show held within the competition.  Although they're small they have plenty of attitude - it's great to see this rare breed on show in their home county.
