Farmers & Riders Speak Up - 26 October 2009
Farmers & Riders Speak Up - 26 October 2009
Posted on Sunday, 11 October 2009 05:37PM by
Do you know you're at risk of serious multiple injuries? If there's major trauma as a result of an accident it means you may have less than 10% chance of survival.
A system is currently being developed by Derbyshire's Primary Care Trust to deal with major trauma affecting farmers and riders in the area so a specialist team will be used 24/7 to ensure you're in safe hands to give you the best chance of recovery.
You're invited to join a meeting to raise awareness about this proposed new service and to get your views and how it may benefit you.
If you've a couple of hours free to provide feedback for a worthwhile health benefit for farmers and riders please come along to the meeting on 26 October 2009 at Bakewell Agricultural Centre 12.30 - 2.30pm (lunch is provided from 12 noon).
For catering purposes and free car parking contact Sue Pogson 01246 514067 or email
